Signing links do not last forever. There are two reasons yours has stopped working, and neither is your fault.

It expired
Whoever sent the document set an expiry date when they built it, a month is the default. Once it passes, the workflow moves to Expired and every link in it stops working.
Nothing is lost. Nobody signed anything, and no partial signature is sitting anywhere.
It was cancelled
The sender withdrew it. People cancel for ordinary reasons: the wrong version went out, the terms changed, the deal moved on. Cancelling withdraws every outstanding signature request at once, so the link dies without warning.
What to do
Go back to whoever sent it and ask for a new one. That is the whole answer. There is no way to revive a dead link, extend an expiry from your side, or recover the document yourself.
A sent workflow cannot be edited, so even the sender cannot simply extend it: they build a fresh one and send it again. Expect a new email rather than the old link springing back to life.
If you had already signed
Different situation. A completed document is available for 14 days, then deleted: for everyone, including the sender. If you signed and now cannot reach the file, see Getting your signed copy, and ask the sender promptly: after that window nobody can retrieve it.
