One person sending contracts is the simple case. A team is where the questions start: who pays, who can see what, and what happens to work in progress when somebody leaves.
Users
Everyone on your account has their own login. On the subscription there's no limit and no per-user fee; the Free plan has two users. You invite by email; they set up their own account and join yours.
Sharing work
By default a signature workflow belongs to whoever created it. Share signature workflow with team members, a toggle in the workflow settings, opens it to your colleagues, so they can watch its progress and chase signers.
It is the difference between "only Anna knows where that contract got to" and anyone on the team being able to answer. Turn it on for anything the business depends on rather than anything personal.
Shared allowances
Signatures come out of one pool for the whole account, not per person. Somebody sending a heavy month of Qualified signatures draws on the same allowance as everyone else: worth knowing before you wonder where it went.
Reviewers and viewers cost nothing, so adding a colleague to check a document before it goes out is free. See What counts against your allowance.
When somebody leaves
See Suspend or remove a team member for the exact sequence. If a document was addressed to someone who has gone, cancel it and send again, a signature cannot be handed to a different person.
One language for everyone
You can set the language your invitations and notification emails go out in, separately from the language you personally use the app in. Worth setting once if your recipients are all in one country and your team is not.
Can two of us work on the same workflow at once?
You can both see a shared workflow, but a document being signed is locked to one signature at a time. If a colleague is mid-signature you will be told to wait a moment.
Does everyone need to verify their identity?
Yes, once, before they can send documents for signature. It takes a few minutes via a national eID or the chip in an ID document, and we cover the cost. It is tied to the person, not the company, so joining a verified workspace does not skip it.
Can I stop a colleague seeing a sensitive contract?
Yes: leave team sharing off for that workflow. It then stays visible only to you.
